7-8pm | FLC Room 205/206
Single parents meet weekly for faith strengthening, direction and support. Each month, we discuss vital topics that impact us, and receive direction from God's word.
Throughout the summer, we are delving into a 3-part study in relationships.
Part One of this series takes a look at our relationship to God. This transforming study offers hope to anyone who yearns to know God and relate to Him in meaningful ways. You'll gain a deeper understanding of how God's love compelled Him to bridge the chasm between heaven and earth so that the two of you could enjoy a rewarding relationship that lasts for all eternity.
In Part Two of this study, we take a look at our relationship with our community. Being the hands and feet of Christ to the world around us, includes relating to neighbors, co-workers, and friends and letting them see the love of Christ in you. We will bring in a few guest speakers to share and discuss this topic.
Finally, we'll take a look at what it means to be a part of the body of Christ through a study of the Book of Ephesians in Part Three of the relationships study. God has placed us in our local churches to serve others, care for them, pray together, learn together, and grow together—all for the glory of God.
