Primetimers

Don’t ever accuse Central’s 50 and over crowd of not knowing how to have fun. Primetimers meet once a month in the spring, fall and winter for a delicious meal and a memorable night of fellowship and entertainment. While the format of the program varies from month to month, everyone always leaves with a full stomach and a happy heart. Primetimers are also involved in various outreach projects, and enjoy special day trips throughout the year.

Dinners

Primetimers' Dinners are typically the first Tuesday of the month from September to May. Upon entering the Family Life Center's Weatherby Hall, you'll feel the excitement in the air as friends gather for a delicious meal and delightful entertainment. Dinner tickets are available for purchase on Sundays and Wednesdays in the sanctuary lobby, at the Church Office during business hours, and through the online listing for the individual dinner (click the "Events" tab above).

Primetime Post

Want to feel and stay connected with other Primetimers? The Primetime Post is our monthly newsletter covering all things Primetimers. Available by standard mail or email, the Post includes upcoming event information, a Bible study just for Primetimers, a "Meet a Primetimer" feature, Primetimer birthdays and anniversaries, and much more. On The Road Again

The Primetimers are always up to something! It may be a day trip to The Cove, The Living Gallery at Bob Jones University, the Biltmore House or the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Statesville. It may be volunteering at Samaritan's Purse for Operation Christmas Child, or enjoying a classic movie at our annual Summer Matinee. Whatever it is, you can always count on fun and food!

From collecting tickets to setting tables, many volunteers work to ensure that Primetimers' Dinners are enjoyable events. Other volunteers encourage Primetimers through cards, calls, visits or meals. From production to postage, volunteers also produce our monthly newsletter. Yet, even with all of this wonderful help, we can always use more helping hands.

Fill out the Volunteer Form and choose "Primetimers" to get involved.
