While church membership has no bearing on one's salvation, being connected to a local church in this way can strengthen one's relationship with the Lord and others.
At Central, we want the membership process to be both fun and informative, and we are always happy to answer any questions you have. Following are the three basic steps for membership at Central.
1. Attend the Life at Central Class.
The Life at Central class is designed to let you know what it looks like to be a member of Central and introduce you to some of our staff members. Even if you have not yet determined whether you would like to become a member of Central, you are welcome to attend the class. Membership classes occur at 10:15 on Sunday mornings in February, June and September. These classes are held in Room 203 of the Family Life Center. Click the "Events" tab above for dates and times.
2. Attend Pastor’s Perspective.
Pastor’s Perspective is a session with Pastor Livingston where he shares his background, the history of Central Church and his unique perspective on church membership. This session is held on a designated Wednesday evening. Registration is recommended.
3. Attend New Member Affirmation.
Each person who completes the Life at Central classes and the Pastor’s Perspective will be welcomed into the church. On a designated Sunday morning, those that have completed the classes will be recognized in the service as our new members.
No volunteers are needed for this ministry at this time. To volunteer in one of the many other areas of ministry at Central, complete our Volunteer Form.
