There are over 1.6 billion people in the world who have never heard the name of Jesus, and there are 2.4 billion who have heard the gospel but have never made a personal commitment to Christ. That means that almost two-thirds of the world's population is destined to an eternity without Christ. We have the responsibility as believers to take the light that dwells within us to a lost and dying world.
Central Church takes the great commission literally in “going into the entire world preaching the gospel.” We partner with missionaries and organizations around the world by providing financial assistance, team trips and faithful prayer support.
We will receive special missions offerings quarterly on Sundays: June 2, Aug. 4 and Nov. 3 in 2019.
Central also partners with organizations such as International School Project, Samaritan's Feet and With Open Eyes. These missions organizations take missions trips throughout the year. Email Pastor Tony Arnett for details, or see our 2019 Missions Opportunities here.
Short-term missions is a life-changing experience that not only challenges individuals to discover and develop the gifts and abilities the Lord has given them, but allows them the opportunity to use them for His glory. Most individuals who participate on these mission trips come back with a deeper and more fervent desire to pray for the lost, to know the Lord more intimately, and with a burden for the work of the Lord throughout the world.
We offer short-term opportunities for all ages, including trips where the whole family can participate together.
Change your life, and someone else's, by taking a step of faith and signing up to go. To inquire about missions opportunities with Central, fill out our Volunteer Form and select "International Missions" as your area of ministry interest.
