CSM Jr. Varsity

Middle school is a time where students are trying new things, questioning what they thought they knew, and starting to become more independent. This is an exciting time!

We desire CSM Junior Varsity to be a place where your student is discipled to know Jesus, to choose Him, and grow in their relationship with Him. When students come to Central Youth MS/JV we want them to know they belong and that this is their community at Central.  All students are welcome, and we love each one just the way God designed them. Lastly, we want parents to feel informed, to know what their students are learning, know about all activities so they can help their student take advantage of all the opportunities to build relationships and friendships that will last a lifetime. We are your partner in discipling your student for Jesus!

Services

  1. JV Services are held in the Junior Varsity Building on Central’s Main Campus.
  2. Sunday Morning Services
    1. Take place at 8:30 and 10:30. 8:30 is a smaller service and will have more the feel of Sunday School.
    2. Food: The café is open starting around 8:05 and serves waffles, drinks, and other items. All items are $1.
  3. Wednesday Nights
    1. Café opens at 6:15 and serves burgers, fries, drinks, and other items. All items are $1.
    2. Service begins at 7:00. We typically play a game and then have a message. Sometimes we will break into small groups.

Check-In Process

  1. Students check themselves in using their parent’s telephone number registered with the church.
  2. Students are released at the end of service and can hang out in the building or leave to find their parents. JV staff and volunteers do not check students in or out.
  3. Communications

    1. Instagram Account: @CSM JV  We routinely post events, sermon series, and pictures
    2. Weekly JV Connect E-mail
      1. This e-mail is designed to help you know all events through a once-a-week e-mail.
      2. Sent Monday or Tuesday of each week. You may have to look for it in your promotional email if you are a google user and adjust settings to have it come directly to your main inbox.
    3. Monthly Calendar & Reading Plan
      1. We have a monthly Bible Reading Plan and we advertise activities and identify activities in the calendar. This is great to hang on the fridge! You can get these in the foyer of the JV building.

    Volunteer Activities

CSM JV does not happen without our great volunteers! We would love your help if you feel led to develop relationships with our students and help disciple them. All volunteers are background checked.
