This class of couples and singles study the scriptures expositorily, with an emphasis on beholding Jesus Christ and applying God’s truth to our lives. Beginning August 24th, we will study the great songs and poems of the Old Testament. The glorious triumphs of God aren’t merely spoken in everlasting words. They are also returned to Him in wholehearted praise as we remember what the Lord has done. We will study the songs of Moses, Deborah, Hannah, Habakkuk, and the Great Hallel (Psalms 113-118) for about 8 weeks. "The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him." Exodus 15:2 NKJV
What does it mean to be a Warrior for Christ? Our Bible study's main goal is to grow closer to the Lord Jesus. The Word of God from Genesis to Revelation all point to Jesus, and as we go verse by verse, we will search the scriptures for Him (Luke 24:13-35). The more we understand how The Word points to our Savior, the more we grow to love Him and pour out that love on others. Our fellowship will also aim to get to know one another, that we may be knit together in love (Ephesians 4:1-32). Please join us as we press toward the mark (Philippians 3:7-16) and learn how to put on the "Whole Armor of God" (Ephesians 6:10-20).
