Adults age 50 and up have our own ministry at Central, affectionately known as Primetimers. While we're still young at heart, we enjoy getting together to laugh, eat, travel, pray and to serve. Whatever we do, we do it heartily as unto the Lord. Primetimer events provide a great outreach opportunity to share His love – with a family member, neighbor, friend or coworker. If you are in the prime of your life, please join us. You'll be glad you did.
Dinners are typically the first Tuesday of the month from September to May. As you enter Central's Family Life Center, you'll feel the excitement in the air as friends gather for a delicious meal and delightful entertainment. As these dinners have been known to sell out, buy your $8 ticket early at the Welcome Center before and after services, at the church's administration building during office hours, or online prior to the ticket deadline for each event.
Primetime Post is the way to stay connected. This monthly newsletter is published and distributed by Primetimers. Available to anyone interested by mail or e-mail, the Post features information about scheduled dinners and events. It also includes birth and anniversary dates for our Primetimer family...and featured articles about events, individual Primetimers, and our own Bible study.

Special Events We're always up to something! It may be a day trip to The Cove, The Living Gallery at Bob Jones University, the Biltmore House or the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Statesville. It may be volunteering at Samaritan's Purse for Operation Christmas Child or enjoying a classic movie at our annual Summer Matinee. Whatever it is, you can count on fun and food!
Volunteering From tickets to table setting, many volunteers work to make our dinners an enjoyable event. Other volunteers encourage Primetimers through cards, calls, visits or meals. From production to postage, volunteers produce our monthly newsletter. Yet, with all of this man (and woman) power, we can always use more helping hands.
If you would like to be on the Primetimer mailing list, please email Sherry your name, address, phone number, birth & anniversary dates (month/day) and email address if you have one.
