Have you ever wondered what it looks like to be a "Christian" or a "believer in Christ?" How are we to live? This four-week series will take you back to the foundations of your belief in Christ, and show you how to interpret the blueprints of God's Word.

Jim Cymbala Study: When God's People Pray
Wednesdays, January 17-February 21 • 6:30-8:30pm Lake Park Campus
In this six-week session facilitated by Ray Butler, Pastor Jim Cymbala of the Brooklyn Tabernacle will help us discover how prayer can change lives and circumstances. We'll examine the keys that unlock the power of prayer, and turn prayer into a vital link with God.

Sharing Jesus
Sundays, January 21-March 25 • 10:15am-noon • FLC 108
How do you start meaningful conversations about your relationship with Jesus Christ? God gives you daily opportunities to share His love with others. You don't have to look hard to take advantage of the right moments to help other people find the love and joy of Jesus in their lives. Learn how to incorporate biblical stories into conversations with the people in your life. You already have the gifts necessary to share God's love with others.

Daniel Part II: Gaining Understanding of the Time of the End
Mondays, January 29-April 9 (except April 2) • 6-8pm or 7-9pm • FLC 106
Do the turmoil in our times, the uprisings and the spiritual decay of many have anything to do with the Book of Daniel? Daniel was a man who knew what God said about the end times. He focused on what God said, not the events of his own time. As a result, Daniel had an impact on the people who God placed in his life. How do you live as a Daniel in the crucial days in which you find yourself? How can you dare to be different? How do you get to know God Most High? The Book of Daniel has the answers.

For Women

Women of Grace
Tuesdays, January 9-March 13 | Wednesdays, January 10-March 14
6:45-8:30pm (Tuesdays) | 9:30-11:30am (Wednesdays) • FLC Seminar Room
Women of Grace explores "A Matter of the Heart" with class facilitator Karen Shue. The issues of your life, your hopes, your dreams and your fears all flow from the heart. We can't change our behavior until we allow God to change our heart. All women are welcome to join us as we perform "surgery" on our hearts.

Heart to Heart: Entrusted
Wednesdays, January 10-March 14 • 9:30-11:30am • FLC 106
You have been entrusted with the gospel of Jesus Christ. What are you doing with this sacred trust? How do we individually and corporately influence the world with the gospel? In his pastoral letter to Titus, the apostle Paul unlocks the secrets of godly influence. He offers insights on Christian leadership and biblical living. Join us at no cost as we work through the book of Titus. The Heart to Heart Bible Study includes teaching, fellowship, discussion and prayer.

Daughters of the King: Finding I Am
Thursdays, January 18-March 1 • 9:30-11:30am • FLC 106
What is the deep cry of your heart? The ache in your soul that keeps you up at night? The prayer you keep repeating? Jesus not only cares about this deep, spiritual wrestling, but He also wants to step in and see you through it.

Women's Study: The Daniel Prayer
Thursdays, January 18-March 1 • 6:30-8:30pm • FLC 103
Do you ever long for a more effective prayer life? In this six-session video Bible study, we'll look at the life of Daniel and unpack the prayer he prayed in Daniel 9. Unlike the everyday now-I-lay-me-down-to-sleep kind of prayer, this is a prayer birthed under pressure. It's a prayer in which the prayers return to the cross and show repentance of sin. And it's a prayer that changes hearts and nations even in our world today.

Women: The Temple
Thursdays, January 18-April 19 • 9:30-11:30am • FLC Seminar Room
You are God's temple, and you have the supernatural ability to reflect His glory! Discover how to fulfill God's greatest goal for your life: glorifying Him through The Temple.

Women: The Broken Way
Thursdays, January 18-March 1 • 9:30-11:30am • FLC 105
Brokenness doesn't only find us in the big things – things like illness, hardship or grief. It also finds us in the everyday stinging moments. Sometimes, living with Christ in a messed-up world feels less like victory and more like walking uphill. How do we walk in a way that both glorifies Jesus and bears witness to our weakness? We are desperately loved by Jesus, and you will see how God takes flawed and imperfect sinners, redeems us, and makes us useful in his kingdom.

Women's Study: Seamless
Mondays, January 22-March 5 • 6:30-8:30pm • FLC 105
In seven sessions, Seamless covers the people, places and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Each week of the study features key information that brings all of Scripture together into the seamless truth of the gospel message.

Groups meeting in Charlotte, Mint Hill and Matthews are ongoing. Email Annabell for more information.

For Men

Men’s Class: The Revelation of Jesus Christ
Thursdays through December 14; Thursdays, January 4-May 31, 2018
6:30-8:30pm •
FLC Seminar Room (through December 14); FLC 106 (beginning in January)
Join us as we continue a verse-by-verse study of the New Testament's final book, the Revelation of Jesus Christ. In this in-depth study, we'll come to understand that God has made Revelation understandable – not mysterious – by the use of symbols and images found elsewhere in Scripture. Throughout the Bible, clues appear that actually make Revelation EASY to understand for the one who "digs for hidden treasure" (as Jesus characterized the Kingdom of God).

Men’s Bible Study & Fellowship
Fridays, January 12-May 18 • 6:30 – 7:30am • Varsity Cafe
Join other men on Friday mornings as we explore the Scripture and encourage each other.

Men’s Bible Study: Unfolded
Mondays, January 22-March 5 • 6:30-8:30pm • FLC 102
Most men know specific Bible stories, but do they know the overarching story of the Bible? While the Bible is a collection of 66 books, the reigning theme that still holds eternal implications for our lives today is God's powerful story of redemption. Join us over eight sessions to explore this story of a God who loves us, longs to be known by us, and ultimately invites us into His story. Though there are many heroes in the Old and New Testaments, you'll discover the one true Hero of our faith: Jesus.

For Single Parents

Single Parent Class: Set Apart
Wednesdays, January 17-February 28 • 6:30-8pm • FLC 205/206
In this free six-week study, we examine Christ's Sermon on the Mount by looking at the promise of blessedness. Happiness is a circumstance-driven emotion. Blessedness is eternal. By continuing to pursue holiness, blessedness comes and allows us to discover the power and fulfillment of God's power.
