CATS Bus Ambassador

Bus Ambassadors will ride CATS buses on specified routes at designated times to provide and assist with customer/rider relations. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills, and the ability to interact courteously with the public while providing the highest level of passenger service and safety awareness to ensure riders have the best experience possible.

We are currently looking to hire approximately 500 Christian men and women to fill paid positions for a four-week project with Operation Christmas Child, and we need your help to spread the word! Partnering with like-minded churches and organizations is the most effective way to identify candidates who are passionate about spreading the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and working in our processing centers.  

Our seasonal positions include a wide variety of customer service and warehouse roles (including heavy lifters, Class-A CDL drivers, and forklift operators). The ideal candidate for this position has a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, aligns with the mission of Samaritan’s Purse, works well with volunteers, and is flexible and able to function well in a fast-paced environment.

DLR Group is an integrated design firm delivering architecture, engineering, interiors, planning, and building optimization for new construction, renovation, and adaptive reuse. The Administrative team has an opening for a Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant in Charlotte.

As a Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant at DLR Group you will be the first point of contact for our vendors and visitors. You will be responsible for providing a welcoming environment to all visitors, vendors, clients, and consultants. Additionally, you will be tasked with meeting coordination, presentation set-up and break down, and overall office organization. 

The successful candidate will 

  •  Greet all visitors and vendors and providing guidance on the office space. 
  •  Minimal phone duties. 
  •  Manage coordination with vendors 
  •  Schedule/setup lunches and office events 
  •  Perform basic accounting tasks such as: order entry, invoice mailing, correspondence, meeting minutes 
  •  Assist staff with travel reservations, help manage office calendars, and distribute mail/send out mailings/UPS shipments. 
  •  Distribute relevant information to staff regarding local office -related activities and events. 
  •  Maintain overall office organization and professional appearance 
  •  Assist Financial Administrator and Project Administrator with project tasks 

 Required Qualifications 

  •  3 or more years of experience in a customer facing service role 
  •  Previous experience in a customer service environment 
  •  Proficient with Microsoft Office 
  •  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  •  Proactive, independent thinker possessing a high attention to detail and ability to prioritize 
  • Working knowledge of business procedures and office equipment 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction (A/E/C) industry. 
  • Experience and knowledge using design industry-related software is a plus.
