Thursday, Mar 05, 2015 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Main Campus, Women

Thursdays, March 5 – May 14

A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place by Beth Moore explores the building of the Old Testament tabernacle. It looks at the significance of its intricate design, its pivotal role in God’s eternal plan, the grand fulfillment of its purpose by Jesus Christ, and its variety of meanings for your walk with God today.

Perhaps no Old Testament event better illustrates God's desire to relate to his children than the building of the tabernacle in the wilderness. Through the tabernacle God initiated a deeper relationship with His chosen people by bringing reconciliation and revealing His glory. You will be challenged to prepare your heart, like the Holy of Holies, to become a dwelling place for the most high God.

Cost of Materials: $18 (Online price includes a convenience fee of 66¢.)

Social Connection: A grownup tea party! A place where women can talk, laugh and enjoy being together while also enjoying yummy drinks and treats.

Deeper Connection: Storytelling! One woman each month will share her personal story with the group.

Spiritual Connection: Teacup swap! Each woman will bring a teacup and will place a personal prayer request inside of it. At the end of the evening, every woman will take home someone else's teacup and prayer request and will pray for that woman over the next month.

If you would like to be part in this ministry, please register and a leader will email you an Evite invitation to each teacup meeting. You only need to register for the teacup ministry once on this website and any future meetings will be coordinated through Evite.

Please note: there is no childcare for this off-campus event.

Life's Healing Choices - Wednesdays

Wednesday, Mar 25, 2015 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Life Care Center

Wednesdays, March 25 – May 13

Happiness and healing are yours for the choosing.

Have you ever searched for happiness in the wrong places, with the wrong people, trying wrong things? Because of our choices, most of us have had to deal with a hurt, hang-up or habit at some point in our lives. Life happens and as you stand at the crossroads of decision, which path will you choose?

Life's Healing Choices provides practical and life-changing directions through eight healing choices from a great road map: the Sermon on the Mount.

You will be inspired as you hear real stories of lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ and the fellowship of other believers, hopeless marriages restored and people set free from all kinds of hurts, hang-ups and habits as they live out the Beatitudes.

Make the choice. Come with us on this journey to freedom, wholeness, happiness and peace. Your life will be impacted in positive and dramatic ways as you find real answers, enduring hope and a promising future – one healing choice at a time.

The $35* fee includes a study guide.

* Online registration includes a convenience fee of 96¢.

9:00 a.m.
Race Starts in the Student Life Center Parking Lot
To register: www.purereligion5k.com

Central church invites you to join us for our 5th annual Pure Religion 5K to promote awareness and fight against human trafficking. There are millions enslaved worldwide – more than at any other point in human history. After drug trafficking, human trafficking, or modern-day slavery, is the second largest criminal industry in the world. We can't imagine the horror of a 12-year-old girl being sold to a brothel and there are an estimated 100,000 minors in the United States alone trapped in sex trafficking. Please join with hundreds in the Charlotte community as we walk/run for freedom of those enslaved.

Early bird rates until February 28, 2015.
T-shirt deadline is April 6, 2015.
Sponsors are needed for the 2015 race. Contact Brenda at brendal@centralchurchofgod.org
