Gideon

Adult Class, Charlotte Campus
Monday, Mar 07, 2016 6:45 pm - 8:30 pm

Mondays, March 7 – April 25

When we hear the name Gideon, most of us think about his 300 soldiers or the fleece he laid out. But Gideon’s story is much bigger than that.

From a state of fear, weakness and insecurity, Gideon emerged as Israel’s hero, filled with God’s presence and His passion for deliverance. This study will encourage you to recognize your weaknesses as the key to unlock the full experience of God’s strength in your life.

In what ways do you feel insufficient? Those places create the greatest opportunity to experience the sufficiency of God. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, see them as the gifts that they are.

Cost of materials: $14 (Online price includes a convenience fee of 54¢.)

Charlotte Campus, Pure Religion, Reach Out, Women
Saturday, Apr 16, 2016 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Pure Religion 5K
To Help Stamp Out Human Trafficking

Central Church, 5301 Sardis Road, Charlotte, NC 28270

Central Church invites you to join us for our 6th annual Pure Religion 5K to promote awareness and fight against human trafficking.

There are millions enslaved worldwide – more than at any point in human history. After drug trafficking, human trafficking, or modern-day slavery, is the second largest criminal industry in the world. We can’t imagine the horror of a twelve-year-old girl being sold to a brothel and there are an estimated 100,000 minors, in the United States alone, trapped in sex trafficking. Please join with hundreds in the Charlotte community as we walk/run for freedom of those enslaved.

This is a family event which will include a kids fun run.

Early bird rates are until February 29, 2016.

To receive a race t-shirt in your size, register by March 28, 2016.

Sponsors are needed and there are many benefits to becoming one. Contact Brenda if you are interested.
