The Awana program is free, and this session concludes in May. Register here on the website.

Junior Varsity and Varsity
• Most Wednesdays, students meet in their respective buildings for an engaging Wednesday night experience that includes music, teaching and small group interaction. From 5:30-6:30 on most Wednesdays, students can enjoy games and purchase food ($2 combo – hotdog, fries and drink; or nachos and cheese with drink). Check the Wednesdays at Central page for the most up-to-date information on what is planned for JV and Varsity students on a particular date.

Coffee Central

Hope For The Gentiles - The Gospel of Mark

Adult Class, Lake Park
Wednesday, Jun 07, 2017 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Wednesdays, June 7-28
6:30-8pm at the Lake Park Campus
No Online Registration (just show up)

Although the Gospels present compelling stories of the life, words and works of Jesus, the gospel of Mark stands apart with a unique perspective. Written specifically for the non-Jewish believers during a climate of persecution and suffering in Rome, the gospel of Mark reveals an intimate, yet commanding side of Jesus.

In this presentation you'll travel to Rome and Israel with host Michael Card to explore the life and character of Jesus through the experiences of Peter as captured by Mark. Gain a deeper understanding of the struggles, suffering and pain endured by those who followed Jesus as you visit the Mamertine Prison, Circus Maximus and the Roman Forum, as well as significant landmarks in Israel.

Find a fresh point of view on the meaning of discipleship that brings clarity not only to the joy of following Christ, but also to the reality of fear, uncertainty and danger. Discover how you can face trials in life with confidence of finding hope, healing and encouragement through God's Son, Jesus Christ.

Wednesday, Jun 21, 2017 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Thursday, Jun 22, 2017 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Thursdays, June 1-August 31
6:30-8:30pm in FLC 108

Join us as we embark on a verse-by-verse study of the New Testament's final book, the Revelation of Jesus Christ. In this in-depth study, we'll come to understand that God has made Revelation understandable - not mysterious - by the use of symbols and images found elsewhere in Scripture.

Throughout the Bible, clues appear that actually make Revelation EASY to understand for the one who "digs for hidden treasure" (as Jesus characterized the Kingdom of God). Since this will be a lengthy, ongoing class and we will continue to meet weekly, year-round, men are welcome to join us at any time.

In this seven-session Video Bible Study, we will explore the practical side of redemption, learn to lean upon Jesus for our help and hope, and increase our passion for God's Word.

Men's Class: The Revelation of Jesus Christ

Adult Class, Charlotte Campus, Men
Thursday, Jul 06, 2017 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Thursdays, June 1-August 31
6:30-8:30pm in FLC 108
Leader: Dan Busey
Cost: Free

We meet together once a month on Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:30am in the Varsity Café.

We hope you’ll join us and see how God will inspire, encourage and strengthen us all as we gather on these Sundays. There is much in store for you … including a great light breakfast. Couples with children, you can drop them off at the nursery or their respective CSM venues before coming to Couples Connect.

Oh, one more thing: Go ahead and invite other young couples you may know to join us! We can’t wait to see you there!

Tuesday, Sep 19, 2017 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Returning September 19, 2017, and concluding May 22, 2018
Location: Coffee Central

Come empty; be filled with food, fun, fellowship and faith. This group is designed to help women connect in a deeper way with God, each other and themselves (see Matthew 22:37-39).

What is teacups? It's a monthly gathering of women with the purpose of connecting through fellowship, testimony and prayer. Sunday, Nov 12, 2017 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Second Sundays of the month, 10:30am
Location: Varsity Building Cafe

There’s a buzz around Central’s Charlotte campus about an opportunity for people just like you! Couples Connect is designed to provide a forum where young families (20s & 30s is the guideline, not the rule) can connect and grow together in Christ. Women of Grace, formerly known as Women of the Word, will return to the familiar Ann Graham Lotz format as we study “Experiencing the Fullness.” God wants us to find fullness in Him — not the things of this world.

We will do this by understanding the depth of His love for us, which comes through reading His Word, praying, worship and knowing the Holy Spirit in all His fullness so we will experience a deeper, richer relationship with Christ.

As we study together, our ultimate goal is to be filled to overflowing with Christ so that He is seen in us.

Because God loves you, He wants to speak to you. Do you know His voice? There are many voices that sound good, voices that even sound like God, but they are not Him. In this free study, we will learn to discern God’s voice through His Word, His character and His Spirit.

Using Priscilla Shirer’s video series, small groups and additional study materials, we will equip ourselves to hear and follow the Lord. We enjoy fellowship, study, friendship and more in Heart to Heart. Please join us and bring a friend.

Register at no cost. Childcare is only available by registration.
