Growth Mindset and Emotional Intelligence – Pathway to a Healthy Life • Saturday, April 8 • 9am – 12:30pm • Lower FLC

Nothing stirs emotions like the dynamics in relationships, but interactions and reactions are often based on a fixed mindset and mismanaged emotions. God desires for us to learn and grow in relationship to Him and each other. Dr. Shelley Thompkins, a nationally-known speaker and member of Central, will explain how a “growth mindset” can help one navigate through life’s challenges. She’ll also offer strategies for developing emotional intelligence through self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management – which all lead to a healthier and more enjoyable life. $30.
